How a Form Builder Works in FormsBuilder
A form builder turns a description of the information you need into a form people can fill in. Here is what happens in FormsBuilder from the first sentence to the first submission.
Step one
Describe the form
You write what the form is for, for example an appointment request for a dental clinic, and choose a type such as booking, order, application, registration or quote request. You can switch on a payment, a signature or conditional logic.
Step two
Review a working form
FormsBuilder chooses the fields, groups them into steps and adds the rules that fit your description. The result is not a picture of a form. It is a form you can fill in right away, with validation and logic that respond to your answers.
- Fields and steps chosen from your type and description
- Conditional logic that shows and hides fields
- A preview of the payment step and the signature field
Step three
Publish and collect
Save your form to edit it, embed it on your website and receive submissions. Each submission is stored in your workspace, shared with the right people and exported when you need it.
What stays yours
Your data stays yours
Submissions belong to your workspace. You can export them and you decide who sees them. Read how we protect them on the Security page, or see what each plan includes.
